URGENT! Help is needed! Details...
In 1984 on October, 27 the last, "the Golden Link" of Baikal-Amur Railway was layed.
The first have gone on the new railway from Ust-Kut to Komsomolsk-na-Amure.
Since then 18 years has passed. The states, governors and ideologies has changed.
And not once hotheads buried the road conceived, as a way to the future, but becoming the symbol of the past for many people.
But time has placed all on its own places. Today the road continues to work and develop, confirming correctness of those who began its designing more than half of a century ago.
This site tells about the past and the present of the Baikal-Amur Railroad, which has become legendary for several generations of Russians.
We will be very grateful to any new materials about BAM, as well as additions, corrections and remarks on a site.
